I have been making these granola bars for Oliver since our trip to London in 2015. They remain our favorite granola bar to this day. I am so happy I get to share this with you! These yummy bars also pair well with all types of prepared coffee styles. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Butter OR soya spread
- 1 1/3 cup honey
- 2 1/4 cup demerara sugar
- 4 cups jumbo oats
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup pecan halves
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup dried chopped mango
- 1/2 cup dried chopped apricots
- 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/3 cup ground almonds
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
Directions
- Melt the butter, honey, and sugar
- Boil the mixture until it forms a smooth caramel
- Mix all ingredients together and pour the caramel on and mix well
- Put into a baking tray ( I lined mine with Parchment paper) and press down
- Bake for 15 minutes at 375
- Place in the fridge to cool, then cut into bars
