Story
Our Dharma Espresso Blend offers a full body with lingering finish. Bright and tart notes of dried cherry are prominent at first sip, while rich notes of cocoa and baking spices are present throughout. This espresso gives a complex tasting experience which pairs well with milk or as a straight shot of espresso.
Our Dharma Espresso Blend incorporates three distinct coffees from three different parts of the coffee-producing world. Because the coffees that are used are seasonal the flavor notes listed on the label will shift a bit from time to time.
The first component comes from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Grown high in the municipality of Campos Altos, the coffee collected in this region offers a dense, creamy body, plus contributes notes of rich chocolate and a subtle maple syrup sweetness.
The second coffee component comes from Sidamo, Ethiopia. Coffees from Ethiopia offer a noteworthy fruit-like sweetness, and this coffee component is no different. Providing a dried fruit sweetness and fullness in body, this Natural process coffee adds complexity and depth to this espresso.
The third coffee from Alotenango, Guatemala is a recent addition to our Dharma Espresso Blend. This coffee is produced by Luis Pedro Zelaya Aguirre Sr. It is harvested and wet milled by Candelaria Estate and dry milled at Bella Vista. Luis Pedro Sr. purchased Candelaria Estate in 2005, and has steadily grown the Zelaya family's coffee producing business ever since.
Although each coffee maintains its own unique qualities, each of them comes together to create one harmonious tasting experience in our Dharma Espresso Blend. Enjoy!

full, lush, and very chocolatey! great as a ristretto (restricted espresso) with a bit of milk or cream. gives very nice crema even on my lever machine.

A wonderful cup of espresso - great with a hint of milk! The rich body is perfect on these chilly mornings, and the woodsy notes that come out at the end strangely feels like a warm blanket, coaxing me back to sleep...
